NDIS Day Program

Our NDIS Day Program is aimed at assisting NDIS participants to improve their physical and mental well-being. We achieve this by providing opportunities for like-minded participants to come together and be active throughout the day and learn about healthy habits that can be used in day-to-day life.

We start the day with a yoga session, helping our participants regulate their emotions, stretch out, and focus for the day ahead. We then break for morning tea where we sit down together and have discussions about healthy eating habits and meals.

After morning tea, we are off to either Kokoda pool to spend an hour with our certified swim coach for fun water games and to cool off, or, we’ll head to the Sports Reserve to learn some ball skills and play a friendly game of basketball with our basketball academy coach. Both activities will be designed to engage participants and encourage active participation to get our bodies and minds moving.

Once we have finished lunch, we end the day with some mindfulness practice and a nice cool down to help our minds and bodies unwind from a busy day. This session will help participants regulate emotions and teach tools that can be used in every day life when we start to feel a
bit overwhelmed.

At Kimberley Anne Fit, we believe in providing opportunities for everybody to shine and be the best versions of themselves.
